Who We Are

Finding Home is a group of educators dedicated to empowering people with the information they need to finance, find, and purchase a home.  All of our instructors are trained by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission.   

What We Do

Finding Home provides free home buyer's workshops at locations around Seattle and in neighboring communities.  Our workshops are extensive 5 hour sessions, designed to be entertaining and interactive as they address every step of the home buying process.  Buying a home is always a complex process - but it doesn't have to be an overwhelming one.  We seek to give buyers the information that will help save them time and money, and that will make the process work for them.  Whether it's answering common questions about down payments and open houses, or providing insight on the intricacies of the real estate market, our workshops are focused on raising the expectations of prospective home buyers.   

What Makes Us Different

Our educators share a belief that the home buying process is unique, as it consistently reminds all involved of the great value of our neighborhoods and communities.  Home buyers are an integral part of building strong communities, and Finding Home is dedicated to making the most of the oppurtunity that being a part of the home buying process presents.  With our volunteer credit, and a curriculum that recognizes the necessity for responsible and sustainable growth, we are proud to join the home buyers that attend our workshops in trying to make a small difference in our communities reflecting these ideals.
